This initiative isn’t just about the classroom. It’s about learning, creativity, and opportunity beyond the classroom—helping young people explore passions like music, photography, science, and more. For many families in rural or economically challenged parts of Wisconsin, reliable technology is out of reach—widening learning gaps and limiting future potential.

Partner With Us
We welcome partnerships with organizations across Wisconsin, especially in the Chippewa Valley, that can help identify and vet students and families in need, collaborate on fundraising efforts, and connect us with donors who want to make a meaningful difference.
Who Qualifies
Students and families may qualify for support through Giving Mac’s Connected Futures Initiative if they live in Wisconsin, with special consideration given to those in the Chippewa Valley, and have a demonstrated need for reliable technology.
This initiative is focused on school-age students and families who may not have a clear or traditional path toward higher education, but who would benefit from access to an iPad, MacBook, or other Apple technology to support learning, creativity, digital skills, personal growth, and future opportunities.
To qualify, students must demonstrate a meaningful purpose for the technology, especially as it relates to online learning, basic STEM education, digital skills, creativity, or other educational opportunities. Families must also have access to the internet, either at home or through a reliable public location such as a school, library, community center, or other trusted space.
Students or families must be recommended or sponsored by a school, nonprofit organization, community partner, or other trusted organization that can help identify the need and support the student’s goals.
