Advancing Wellness for Wisconsin’s Veterans and First Responders
Our veterans and first responders give so much to serve our country and protect our communities. Many face lasting challenges such as stress, trauma, and isolation that can continue long after their service ends.
Giving Mac’s Wisconsin Veteran and First Responder Wellness Initiative supports their well-being through immersive nature films and calming environments that offer opportunities to relax, reflect, and connect with nature.
Current Initiative - Supporting Our Veterans
In VA hospitals, clinics, retirement homes, and shelters serving veterans, Giving Mac helps create welcoming spaces that bring calm, comfort, and support to settings that can feel stressful or overwhelming. These installations are provided at no cost to qualifying veteran facilities, made possible through donations and community partnerships.
Completed Project: Chippewa Falls, WI VA Clinic
Upcoming Project: Rice Lake, WI VA Clinic
Upcoming Project: Hayward, WI VA Clinic
Future Initiative - Supporting Our First Responders
For police departments, fire departments, sheriff’s offices, and their stations, Giving Mac helps create calming spaces where first responders can pause, decompress, and recharge amid the demands of their work.
Your donation helps bring these wellness environments to more facilities across Wisconsin—giving something meaningful back to those who serve our country and protect our communities.
