Today, Giving Mac leads two core initiatives: the Connected Classroom Initiative, which equips students and educators with the tools they need to thrive in a digital world; and the Veteran Wellness Initiative, which installs immersive nature film systems in veteran and first responder facilities to promote relaxation, mental wellness, and emotional healing. Red House of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit retreat and event center passionately dedicated to restoring hope and healing among individuals grappling with mental health challenges, addiction, and poverty in Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley region. Nestled in Mondovi, this serene sanctuary not only provides transformative mentorship and community-centered programming, but also opens its doors as a venue offering weekend lodging, retreats, and gatherings that help sustain its life-changing services. A landmark moment in its journey occurred in early 2025, when Red House celebrated the opening of its newly acquired facility following a successful fundraising effort that began in 2023 and culminated in September 2024. By sponsoring Red House of Hope, you are directly empowering a place that brings renewal, resilience, and community through retreats, events, and ongoing support for those in need.

The Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts, located in Menomonie, Wisconsin, stands as a remarkable tribute and a vibrant cultural cornerstone of the Chippewa Valley. Commissioned in 1889 by Captain and Mrs. Andrew Tainter in memory of their 19-year-old daughter Mabel, the grand Victorian era building, crafted from locally quarried Dunnville sandstone in a Richardsonian Romanesque style with Moorish influences, was envisioned to enrich the intellectual and social life of the community. Featuring exquisite hand stenciled walls and ceilings, marble staircases and floors, leaded stained glass windows, walnut and oak woodwork, brass fixtures, four uniquely crafted fireplaces, and an original Steere & Turner tracker pipe organ with 1,597 pipes, the theater is often described as the “crown jewel” of restored vintage American theaters. Recognized on the National Register of Historic Places and as a charter member of the League of Historic American Theatres, the Center now serves as a dynamic nonprofit arts sanctuary, offering a full performing arts season, annual Fine Arts & Crafts exhibitions, art exhibitions, tours, outreach programming, and event rentals, continuing its legacy of community engagement and artistic inspiration.
